Military Uses

The world’s first military airplane was made in 1907 by the Wright Brothers. The first test that they held was not successful; the passenger died on the first test. The Wright brothers hadn’t given up and tried again. Finally, 1909 was the year that their goal was accomplished. The Brothers made an agreement to sell their military airplane to the U.S. Army. The U.S. Army had awarded them $5,000 and bought the airplane for $30,000.
